Very terrible experience.

I used their venue for a very important celebration, firstly the staffs tried to swindle me and then the drinks i paid for was not provided and They kept harassing me for more money. The hotel management is poor. It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life but they made it my worst night mare.

Basic hotel with poor maintenance

I stayed at Barcelona for a week in May. Checking in was very slow and time consuming. Eventually I got my room and the room was small but well organized and clean, the bed I had was very comfortable. The internet did not really work well so I relocated to the reception / bar area and was constantly approached by people trying to sell me something. Very annoying when you are trying to catch up with work email. The breakfast was not what I expect for a hotel with international guests. It was mostly traditional Nigerian dishes like rice stew made from goat, beef or chicken and cooked with a tomato, onion, pepper and groundnut sauce. Starting the day with this is not for me and getting a couple of slices of toast and an egg, was tricky. It is difficult to describe the service level at this establishment. It was everything from very good and caring to appalling. One night I was woken up at 00:30 by a gentleman from room service offering me free water which I found strange. Later that night I got a phone call saying the water was not for me but another guest. The best part in my opinion is the gym. The hotel also have a pool with very loud music so I left after a short while. There are plenty of better options in Abuja than this establishment.

Maintenance is lacking

The hotel is located in the heart of Abuja. If you want a place that's really central and close to lots of entertainment spots, then you would love the hotel. The staff are friendly too. However, the hotel is poorly maintained. I don't believe the hotel is up to 10 years but you can tell from the rooms and facilities that maintenance is very poor. Damp walls, leaking pipes in bathrooms, faulty ACs etc. All it really has going for it, in my opinion, is location because there are better options.

Just ok. Nothing spectacular

Was here for an organization end of year retreat. The hotel is very similar to others in the same area. It has more rooms than most though. I don't know if it was because they had a lot of guests but I noticed that when you come late for breakfast, you don't get anything to eat. Happened twice to me. Parking can be a bit tight. The staff are fine. It's located in the quiet side of a busy area so there are lots of fun places close by

Very horrible hotel

I stayed here with my wife, her office gave her a place to stay, because they had a conference. We live in Abuja, but decided to move to this hotel for one week. The rooms were not cleaned, the sheets were stained. On Sunday they kept playing very loud music and I couldn't sleep. Don't bother coming here at all. People must get value for the money paid.
