The horror hotel

This hotel is straight from horror films. Cockroaches crawling, mouldy bath tiles, stained bed sheet horrible smell. You'll spot cockroaches in the restaurant and the food is the worst quality Indian food you get and it's the same every single day. Please please Do not be fooled by this hotel's pictures me and my husband had the holiday from hell because of it. it's so dirty and smelly.

Bed Bugs!

This was a very bad experience. The bed in my hotel room had bed bugs, I had bites on my head, back, arms, legs. It was awful !! And to make it worse when I complained to the hotel manager about this he said "My hotel doesn't have bed bugs, you must have brought them with you when you arrived". That is so insane if I hadn't have been so angry I would have been laughing. After 30 mins of arguing with the hotel manager he gave me a new room for the night and I made sure it was my last. I checkout out first thing in the morning and I will never go back. He refused to give me a discount on my stay insisting that I brought the bed bugs to his hotel hahaha. He did come back to my room later in the evening with a $8 USD WiFi voucher for the hotel WiFi (6 hours worth of WiFi) and he really thought it was going to make everything right with me hahahah. Total disaster staying here. Stay away!!

Worst Experience

Do not let the photos of this hotel deceive you like they did me. We did not expect to have the best hotel experience, me and my husband just wanted a clean room to sleep in since it was our first time in Dubai we just wanted to sightsee. Once you step foot into the hotel it does not smell clean and does not look clean at all. I did not want to judge from the lobby so I waited until I got up to my hotel room. The people at the check in counter looked at us very weird and were not very friendly. We got up to our floor and all you heard were people screaming and things banging. I was not happy at all at this point. We got into our room and right than and there I felt extremely disgusted. The rooms were horrendously dirty. I was not able to walk barefoot in those rooms even with my socks on I stayed with shoes on. The bathroom was dirty and everything was pretty much broken. The bathtub had dirt marks and holes in the wall. There was no cold water. The sink drainage system did not work, water piled up in the sink. Let me say the thing that blew me away was that on my towel after a what you think would be a clean shower there was a dry blood stain. Needless to say the towels looked as if they were 20 year old towels. They did not smell or look clean. The bedsheets had little hairs all over the bed, did not feel clean at all. We had breakfast included in our hotel package but after seeing all of that dirt and disgust, the breakfast did not even seem sanitary to me. The hotel overall is very dirty. There is no wifi in the rooms. There is a little area in the lobby that supposedly gives free wifi but the connection was horrible being that there were only a few people connected to it. We also thought they had a pool in the hotel which is also not true. Pictures are very deceiving. My husband and I had to walk to there partner hotels which the first hotel did not allow us to use the pool so we had to walk to another one. The pool was very small and was not open because it was being cleaned. I decided I was no longer able to stay at the hotel.I decided to go to Manzil Hotel which was 100 times better than Fortune Deira. That night I checked out and was not treated with respect. They were very angry and did not even offer me another room to stay in or even a refund. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it was a horrible experience.

Good for Indian Touriest

The hotel was booked through Cox&King, I travelled in Jan'15 along with my family. Overall a very good hotel for Indian tourists travelling to Dubai, the staff were very helpful and you feel comfortable away from your home.

So nasty

The check in person is very nice but the rooms are disgusting. Dirty motel quality. Also, don't expect much amenities. There is no gym or swimming pool. This is a motel charging hotel prices so NOT worth it unless you are ok with dirty walls, dirty bed sheets and dirty floor.
