Best NYC hotel!!

Park Hyatt is a once in a lifetime experience!! The only hotel in NYC that has a pool, jacuzzi and sauna on the 25th floor. The staff remembers your name and treats you as if you were a resident. Room 2102 had a nice view of Central Park.

Magnificent Experience

The Park Hyatt is truly a grand hotel. The staff is thoroughly professional and attentive. The hotel looks elegant and is quiet. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room was so comfortable we hated to leave to see the city.

Great facilities. Spacious room. Impressive service

From the very first hotel employee to the last one that we interacted with, everyone was gracious and seemed to sincerely care about the attentive service they were providing. Very impressive. We dropped off our bags upon arrival, and they were automatically placed with care in our room without delay. The facilities were all top notch. The pool is very large for NYC and tastefully designed. Our room was very spacious and luxurious as expected - albeit not as amazing as the Park Hyatt in Vienna. We were celebrating a birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a bottle of champagne and treats placed on our room desk upon arrival. The turn down service was prompt with a nice added touch of pre-setting our complimentary room slippers bedside. Here's a tip when it's cold outside: Take the tunnel on the first floor to quickly get from the front of the hotel (57th street) to the other side of the hotel (58th street). And then right across the street, you can enter the back door of the JW Marriott hotel which you can walk through all the way to the lobby which leads right to Central Park. But when we tried to return with our key card through this back door hallway, it malfunctioned. Luckily, we were able to wave down a hotel employee who let us in through the adjacent garage. The only odd element was the ambient lighting in the elevator lobby areas on each floor. It's quite dimly lit which gives a very dark and gloomy atmosphere. Not the best choice. Also, beware of the surprising lack of soundproofing. While we were inside our room, we could hear the neighboring doors open and close. Thankfully, our neighbors didn't return to their rooms very late at night

Absolutely amazing

I am a loyal Hyatt client and this is m third Park property and it is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. My husband and I stayed here after a trip to Italy to extend our vacation by a couple days. From the moment we checked in until we left EVERYTHING was top notch. The employees are some of the best. The front staff greats you upon very return and the doorman have the best attitudes. You can tell they love their jobs. We stayed in a suite with a wonderful living room overlooking 57th Ave with a separate half bath and a spa full bath in the bedroom. Enjoy the rain shower and soaking tub. The location was so perfect. Close to shopping, Central Park, and wonderful restaurants. Take a dip in the pool on the 25th floor. Can't wait to come back.

Great Escape

Fantastic staff. Beautifully curated art collection. Comfortable beds & pillows. Love the location, Subway access. Spa (enjoyed it on prior trip). Walkability. Be prepared to have least desirable rooms if using points.
